In one sentence
Poortjes collects nothing and sends nothing to anyone: there is no account, no backend, no analytics and no advertising, and every series, evening and photo you record stays only on your own device.
What the app stores, and where
Poortjes is an offline scorekeeping app for the Dutch table game sjoelen. Everything you enter — each series, each club evening, each player name, your settings and any photo you attach to a series — is written only to the local Core Data database and local preferences store that iOS keeps inside the app's own sandbox on your device. None of it is transmitted anywhere. There is no server, no account system and no sync of any kind.
Camera and photo library
If you choose to attach a picture of your sjoelbak or a paper score sheet to a series, Poortjes asks for permission to use the camera or the photo picker at that moment, for that reason only. The photo is saved inside the same on-device series record. It is never uploaded, and it is never shared with anyone unless you personally use the system share sheet to send it yourself.
Notifications
If you turn on the optional evening reminder in Settings, or receive the one-off nudge about a neglected gate after a series, those notifications are scheduled entirely on your device using iOS's local notification system. No notification content or schedule is sent to any server, because there is no server.
Data you can delete
Settings includes a "Clear all history" action that permanently removes every series, evening and photo stored by the app. Deleting the app from your device removes everything as well, since nothing exists outside of it.
Third parties
Poortjes does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It does not use any third-party service of any kind. No data about you or your device is ever collected, shared or sold.
Children's privacy
Poortjes does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address, along with a new effective date below.
